Characteristics of the Modern Western World: Christianity
LO1: Define Christianity
-Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life, teachings and miracles of Jesus.
LO2: Identify and describe the early tactics used by Christians that made the religion spread and become synonymous with Western Civilization.
-Tactics Christians used to spread the religion were by converting the people mainly pagans to believe in one God instead of many one at a time.
Exercise and Activity
1) It created a new need for a God that talked about the after life.
2) The miracles helped people to believe in the religion.
3) Because it started from the ground up one person at a time.
4) Pagans because they were ones that believed in the many Greek gods.
